Breville BSC560XL

What we like: For those who love lots of roast or meat menus, the Breville BSC560XL slow cooker is a very good choice. As it has a sturdy metal insert, the EasySear feature, which let to sear beef or brown food on the stove top easily. That means if some recipes need to sear before process of stewing, especially for main dishes of meat, you won’t need any other cookware for it and require less pieces for washing later. The sturdy insert can also cook on the gas range or electric range if you need.

7-quart size is a practical capacity for breezy roasting a whole chicken or 9lbs of beef. The dome-shaped lid also makes it has a little roomy space of whole meat, too. The Breville BSC560XL provides 3 basic temperature levels: High, Medium and Low. The Low setting can cook from 5 to 10 hours. The cooking time on High setting is from 3 to 4 hours. While the Dual setting is like a Warm setting –it will automatically switch from High to Low after High temperature setting ends, or after 4 hours. It has ‘Off’ setting; you don’t need to unplug when cooking is end. We love the rubber handles which made it easy to handle.

This slow cooker comes with sleek and sturdy look –rectangular stainless steel finish and cast nonstick aluminum insert. This makes easy to clean and stay shiny. Breville BSC560XL is a best picks slow cooker (for Plan to cook a lot of roasts and meat genre) from Babble.com and recommended by Yumsugar.com.

What we don't like: For negative sides, some users claimed that the temperature is too hot than normal slow cookers in the market. If you’re away, it will need to set on Low setting. More, the stainless lid doesn’t allow monitoring the food inside while cooking. It’s quite expensive. Yet, most reviewers still be satisfied their purchases.

The bottom line: If you’re looking for a muti-purpose slow cooker that suits for your roast or meat recipes (or you normally tend to cook them), this basic but deluxe Beeville cooker is a recommended choice. This is a basic but practical gear for your kitchen.
